Aishiteruze Baby: I Love You, Baby
Synopsis: High school Romeo, Kippei's life is turned around when his 5 year old cousin, Yuzuyu comes to live with him. Abandoned by her mother Yuzuyu finds a father figure in Kippei and Kippei finally finds something that makes him change his ways. He matures into a wonderful father figure and along the way falls in love with school's quiet girl, Kokoro.
Characters:
Katakura Kippei: On top of being his schools biggest "play boy", Kippei is also one of the nicest guys in school making him a double threat against all girls. His character however, makes a complete turn towards the opposite. He becomes a loving father figure for his cousin, Yuzuyu, when she comes to live with him. He leaves his play boy ways to wake up early and make Yuzuyu her lunch and walks her to and from school.
Sakashita Yuzuyu: Is a lively 5 year old girl who has just been abandoned by her mother. As she adjusts to her life with Kippei, she becomes protective over Kippei especially when Kokoro comes into their lives.
Tokunaga Kokoro: Having lost her mother at a young age and her father to a remarriage, Kokoro is a quiet and lonely girl. She is one of Kippei's classmates but hates him for his play boy ways but that too changes as Kippei changes for Yuzuyu. Seeing him with Yuzuyu makes Kokoro fall in love with him.
In my opinion, this is a good story. A boy turns into a man when two women come into his life. This anime gives you the satisfaction of being able to witness such a change. Its a heart-warming story about what it is to be family, even in strange circumstances.
